About Safe Place Outreach

A community-centered, faith-based nonprofit committed to creating safe, transformative environments where Houston-area youth and families can develop the skills and confidence to thrive.

Our Story

Founded on a conviction. Built for the community.

Safe Place Outreach was born out of a conviction that too many young people in underserved Houston communities are growing up without access to the mentorship, creative expression, and life skills education that unlock their full potential. Our founder, a seasoned public servant and community advocate, saw firsthand the impact that absent support systems have on youth — and decided to do something about it.

What began as a focused effort to serve local youth has grown into a multi-program, community-rooted organization with a comprehensive approach to youth development. We do not run programs for statistics. We invest in young people because we believe every child is gifted and every gift, when cultivated in a safe and structured environment, has the power to transform a community.

MISSION

To provide a one stop, safe haven for the elderly, at risk and under privileged children/youth, single moms, victims of human trafficking and family violence, for the purpose of transforming and improving lives through mentoring, training, and spiritual enrichment.

VISION

Safe Place Outreach vision is to serve and provide a safe haven for community development, families, youth, elderly and single parents to be educated, trained and mentored.
